D.J. Verdy
​​Péter Verdes alias DJ Verdy was born on June 13th 1988 in Debrecen, Hungary. He started to play the piano, the guitar and quite soon he took part in the life of the school radio as a presenter and musical editor. During the last few years he's been working at several radio stations and venues in Hungary as a presenter, sound engineer, lighting specialist or a programme editor and last but not least he's been spinning the decks for more than 7 years now as a disk-jockey. Currently a Full-Time Music Business student at UHI Perth College, he is a co-founder of Sound Prophets.

Words And Music is a conference for music lovers, musicians, workers and professionals from all genres and backgrounds that took place at Perth Concert Hall on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th of March. With a wide range of practical tips, discussion panels, workshops, case studies, one-on-one meetings and live performances, Words And Music seeks to explore issues of common interest, provide networking opportunities, encourage good practice and enhance the professional development of attendees, as well as provide entertainment by showcasing gigs in venues across Perth each evening.
